Cookie notice

At present this site sets no cookies at all. Nothing is stored in your browser, and there is nothing for you to consent to or opt out of.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, usually to remember something between pages or visits: that you are logged in, what is in a basket, or which options you chose. Similar technologies include local storage and tracking pixels.

What this site uses

None of them. There are no accounts to stay logged into, no baskets and no saved preferences, so there is nothing a cookie would usefully do. The calculators keep your figures in the page's memory only, which disappears the moment you close or reload the tab.

Because no cookies are set, you will not see a consent banner. A banner that asks permission for nothing would be dishonest.

What might change

If advertising or analytics is added in future, that would involve cookies or similar technologies, and the rules are clear: nothing non-essential may run until you have actively agreed to it. Before that happens, this page will be rewritten to list each cookie and its purpose, a proper consent tool will be added, and you will be able to refuse as easily as accept and change your mind later.

Until you see that banner, you can take this page at face value.

Third-party requests

Although the site sets no cookies, your browser does request font files from Google's servers when a page loads, and Google receives your IP address as a result. This is described in more detail in our privacy notice. We plan to serve the fonts from this site instead, which will remove that request.

Controlling cookies yourself

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies through its settings, and all of them offer a private browsing mode. Doing so will not affect this site, since it relies on none.
